Welcome Back from ASG President Suleymar Dominguez

Hello UConn Waterbury students,

My name is Suleymar Dominguez. It is with gratitude and excitement to announce that I am your new Associated Student Government (ASG) President for the Spring 2024 semester.

I am honored to represent UConn Waterbury’s lively and diverse student body that makes our regional campus special. As your Student President, I am committed to bringing your ideas and concerns into motion. Please feel free to reach out at any time to share your thoughts with me. As a UConn Waterbury Senior, I am happy to share my knowledge, experiences and leadership with all of you.

What is ASG and why should I join?

ASG is the Associated Student Government at UConn Waterbury. We provide student activities and events on or off campus. In addition, we also provide funding for UConn Waterbury clubs. Joining ASG provides the opportunity to participate in student event planning, volunteering and meeting wonderful students, staff, faculty, and professors in our UConn community. You will have the opportunity to voice your opinions on campus life, establish connections with clubs on campus, and represent our student body.

Our e-board members’ goal for ASG is to plan more events and increase engagement on campus. We will have our weekly ASG meetings every Monday, starting on January 22nd from 3pm-4pm in the Student Services Conference Room. There will also be an option to join virtually if you cannot make our in-person meetings. Join us and share your ideas for the campus or your club at the Associated Student Government (ASG).

Our 2023 Eboard members:

Suleymar Dominguez: President

Amy Cordova: Vice President

Anthony Del Debbio: Treasurer

Erjona Zhuta: Secretary
